Biography
Graciela Braga, CGEIT, CPA, COBIT Foundation, CSX Cybersecurity is a certified professional in the Governance of Enterprise IT, oriented to the strategic alignment between business/government objectives and ICT including sustainability and Green IT aspects. At the last Green Standards Week organized by ITU, she spoke about How a well Governed and Managed ICT can Help to Adopt a New Urban Agenda
Graciela has worked on audits and reviews for government and private entities using international frameworks such as COBIT, COSO and ISO Standards. She is an author and researcher about governance and management of information and ICT in different media including ISACA Journal and COBIT Focus Publications and speaker at the latest two editions of Green Standards Weeks organized by ITU

ICT should and must be an enabler to address the principles and commitments of The NEW URBAN AGENDA. Its contribution will depend on how well it is governed and managed in a context of cities goals, satakeholders’ needs and ICT benefits, risk, resources, policies and processes. A framework on the enterprise governance and management of IT, can assist in achieving this goal.

Short analysis of the above issues
A well governed and managed ICT can ensures stakeholders identification, needs evaluation, city and ICT alignment, and ICT process with capacity of delivering outcomes even if the conditions are not the best.
