Description of activity
-Coordinating a thematic table in urban mobility and accessibility the International Seminar that will take place the 24th and 25th August taking into account different examples at an international, national an local point of view regarding the new urban agenda that will take place in Quito during Habitat III.

-From the Masters in Urban Management, we have been working in research projects concerning urban accesibility focused mainly on transport issues. From this point of view, with two partners (ITC from Twente University and Cape Town University) we submitted a proposal for modeling urban accesibility for poor neighborhoods in Bogota (Colombia) and Cape Town (Sout Africa). Which aims at imrpoving accesibility for those in vulnerable situations, mainly poor people living in the periphery of this big cities.

Sustainable Development Goal 11 targets relating to activity
11.2 By 2030, provide access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, improving road safety, notably by expanding public transport, with special attention to the needs of those in vulnerable situations, women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons
