III International Congress of “Housing and City: debate around the New Urban Agenda.”

The Institute of Housing and Habitat Research (CEUR-CONICET/ FAUD-UNC), is organising the International Congress of “Housing and the City: Debate on the New Urban Agenda” to be held on the 21st and 22nd of June 2018 in the FAUD – UNC.

The event will focus on the debates regarding the urban processes that put into tension the exercise of the Right to the City.  Likewise, the identification of alternatives, policies, projects, proposals, arisen from different committed areas such as social movements, academic institutions, research centres, officials and technicians of the State, among others.

The expert conferences, discussion panels, and the collective Workspaces will contribute to understanding the problems the region is facing, as well as the different action plans on the territory that improve the quality of life within the people from a critical perspective of the NUA.  The congress aims to provide a critical view both from academia and public management, as well as civil society with the participation of high international speakers.
