The Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador exists to provide broad population sectors, innovative educational services, promoting their critical capacity and social responsibility; using appropriate methodologies and academic resources, developing institutionally: relevant research and social projection, all consistent with its philosophy and cultural legacy.
Since 1998, its Research department is responsible of managing, supervising and coordinating research activities. In this labor it drives as a priority, the management of research programs of diverse nature. The department has as general aim to develop relevant and pertinent research, therefore seeks to link research with its surroundings and sectors that compose it: productive sector, Government and civil society.
As a responsible institution, its engagement with sustainable development of less-favored communities are reflected as a main research axis in economy, social, humanities, law, technology and architectural studies.
