The Department of Geography, Geo-informatics and Climatic Sciences (GGCS) in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) teaches and carries out Interdisciplinary and Participatory Action research on all aspects of geography including urban development, disaster risk, environmental management, demography, natural hazards and climate systems.
As an interdisciplinary discipline, geography links well with other sciences through spatial techniques to address a range of environment and development challenges including urban issues.
