The “Centro de Investigación en Diseño Urbano” (“Urban Design Research Center”) is one of the Departments of ESNE. Its main objective is to develop applied research on the areas that provide knowledge for the regeneration of the cities, understanding the ongoing processes and proposing solutions for the near future. Its main working fields are: Planning, Urban Design, Mobility, Urban Security and Urban Sociology.

The CIDU-ESNE could host regular meetings on Urban Safety, Urban Design and New Urban Mobility, as a hub for this subjects to Southern Europe.
