“Bhaikaka Centre for Human Settlements (BCHS)” is a school of Planning located at Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design (APIED) campus.
This school offers Master of Urban Planning Degree, apart from the school of Planning, the campus has two other schools named D.C Patel School of Architecture and H.M Patel school of Interior Design. BCHS has fourteen years of academic excellence in urban planning. The institution has a research cell which carries out research programmes and professional projects in the field of urban and regional planning.

The institution has a clean focus to develop a broad understanding of planning process with respect to socio-economic, physical and environmental impacts on the related surroundings. It works to expand the limits of existing urban and regional planning theories and actively pursue the discovery of new viable forms of urban agglomeration for the new generation.
BCHS is affiliated to Sardar Patel University (NAAC Accredited ‘A’ Grade), ANAND, Gujarat (INDIA) and recognized by Institute of Town Planners, India for membership as Associate Planner.

We want to educate potential researchers and students about challenges faced by our habitats, in order to share konowledge and adapt to the future changes in ecology, economy and settlements.
