Description
The Urban Management (UM) Program at TU Berlin is actively involved in the training of foreign experts since many years. The UM Program aims at providing state-of-the-art knowledge in key sectors of urban management, environmental management and engineering.

The main questions that drive our work in the UM Masters course are: ‘How do cities work? How could they work better?’ Trying to answer these questions, we keep in mind the many fields that need to be involved in the process of evaluating and improving urban life: management of water, waste, energy, transport; political decision making; architecture; land legislation and administration; social planning etc.

We are glad that the diverse academic and professional backgrounds of our students reflect the interdisciplinary approach that we seek.
