Description
The IGLUS research laboratory has been established in 2011 by the Chair Management of Network Industries, College of Management of Technology, EPFL.

The primary focus of the IGLUS research initiative is to foster innovative ways to govern large urban systems. IGLUS brings together practitioners (city managers, city officials, urban services providers, etc.) and academics from many different disciplines (urban planners, architects, geographers, engineers, economists, management experts, and political scientists).

Suggested Collaboration Opportunities
At IGLUS research lab, EPFL, we conduct cutting edge multidisciplinary research, and also offer top quality executive training for professionals involved in the area of urban governance and management.

We are interested to develop a long-term collaboration between the IGLUS research lab and UN-Habitat on:

  1. Joint research projects on Innovative Governance of Urban Systems.
  2. Joint training and professional development projects on Innovative Governance of Urban Systems.
  3. Joint pilot project in cities to implement more Innovative Governance structures to help urban development.
